The API supplied by Zendesk for use with the Agent Interface allows for the full installation and configuration of the CloudSET services as part of the installation and configuration of the CloudSET Framework.
However, the Help Center used by your customers and end users operates and behaves in a slightly different fashion to the Agent Interface and the API supplied by Zendesk for this product has yet to provide full support for all functionality.
The above being the case, although the CloudSET Apps/Widgets and configuration tools have been designed to work with both the Agent Interface and the Help Center, it is necessary to perform an additional semi manual configuration before the Apps will work in the Help Center.
The following procedure should therefore be followed to configure the Help Center to allow use of the CloudSET services.
Locate the Help Center Code Snippet
From within the CloudSET Framework (1) open the Help Center tab (2) and select the Help Center Code Snippet button (3).
A dialog is presented with outline instructions explaining how to make use of the code snippet (1).
Select the contents of the code snippet (2) and copy to your clipboard for later use.
Navigate to your Help Center (3) and login as an admin if you haven't already done so.
Once logged into your Help Center as an admin, select the Customize Design option (1).
Paste the Code Snippet into the Document Head
Paste the code snippet previously saved to your clipboard into the top of the HTML script (1) and save the changes (2).
*Note: this code snippet must remain in place at the top of the HTML script to allow continued use of the CloudSET Apps in your Help Center.
