A further consequence of the limited API currently available for the Help Center is an inability to automatically synchronize the configuration settings used for the equivalent Apps and Help Center Widgets during the installation process.
This being the case, if there is a requirement to make use of a Help Center Widget to replicate the CloudSET functionality provided by the equivalent App in the Agent Interface, it will be necessary to initialize the synchronization of the configuration data.
View the Configuration Data Held Against the Help Center Widget
The configurations held against a Help Center Widget can be viewed by selecting the configure link (3) from within the Help Center tab once the widget has been deployed.
(1) If the configuration tool doesn't display the same configurations that were saved during the configuration of the equivalent App it will first be necessary to force the initial synchronization of the configuration data.
Re-save the Configurations Held Against the Equivalent App
To initialize the synchronization of the configurations open the Apps tab and select the configure link against the corresponding App (3).
