Cloudset kicks off the year with a major achievement!

At Cloudset we are delighted to start the year with a celebration. Today we are proud to announce we have successfully completed the Systems Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type I compliance certification, published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). This is an important industry standard for security controls and privacy. It demonstrates our commitment to ensuring the highest standards of security, privacy, and business operations for our customers and prospects.

As a company, we have always been committed to building applications with security at the heart of what we do. It made sense for us to take this to the next level by completing our first audit to achieve SOC 2 Type 1 compliance - the gold standard.

SOC 2 compliance was granted following an independent audit and attestation completed by Laika Compliance LLC. The process involved an in-depth review of our company policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they meet the highest standards for protecting sensitive data.

When we started the process, we could quickly see how the SOC framework would help us to demonstrate we are a well-run company with a fundamental desire to do the right thing by our employees, customers, and partners. We were able to review and refresh key policies, such as Information security, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity, and Supplier Risk Management.  We reviewed key procedures such as incident management, and customer and employee onboarding with a strong emphasis on security but also promoting a positive workplace culture.
